Impact Measurement Consulting for Nonprofits
You’re doing meaningful work — but proving and improving your impact can feel complex. I help small and growing nonprofits design a practical, right-sized impact measurement strategy and systems that clarify what’s working, strengthen funding cases, and support smart decisions.
My Approach and Background
I focus on small and growing nonprofits, so every engagement starts simple, focused, and practical. We’ll co-design indicators, tools, and systems that fit your capacity - so you can focus less on reporting and more on driving real impact, while meeting your different stakeholders’ needs.
I am passionate about helping mission-driven organizations confidently understand, improve, and communicate their impact, so they can make better decisions, strengthen credibility, and accelerate change. For nearly 20 years, I’ve worked across the monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL) space in both international development (including agriculture, WASH, and nutrition) and education, in nonprofit and for-profit settings, with experience in about 45 countries. My expertise spans rigorous quantitative and qualitative methods, participatory and ethical research practices, and deep experience working with systemically excluded and climate-vulnerable populations. I use AI thoughtfully as a supportive tool — for sensemaking, synthesis, and exploring patterns — while ensuring all strategic decisions and interpretations remain human-led and mission-driven. I am committed to producing evidence that is not only technically sound, but genuinely useful to the communities they serve, and their teams, partners, and funders for learning and improvement.

For Big Projects and Nonprofit Strategy Needs Beyond Measurement
I take on a few clients at a time for impact measurement needs; however if more resources are needed on a project, I pull on a team of well-qualified impact expert colleagues to support, with oversight. Colleague profiles will be introduced to clients for review if needed.
Additionally, if clients need nonprofit development support beyond impact measurement, I also work with expert colleagues on additional offerings that can be packaged, such as the creation or refresh of a broad organizational strategy and mission, workshop design and facilitation, training curriculum development, stakeholder mapping, expert interviewing, gender equity and social inclusion initiatives and policies, justice based interventions, business training, and more.
Discovery Call
Start with a 20–30 minute call (free of charge) to talk through your organization’s goals, challenges, and what kind of measurement support makes sense. From there, hours can be billed hourly or through more structured packages, like the examples below. Use the Contact Form for your initial inquiry and I will send a scheduling invite from there.
Time-Based Packages | Problem Solving & Light Builds
These are quicker, focused engagements meant to solve specific problems you have identified, or to help you make fast progress on a specific goal you have identified:

Time-based offerings work well when you need to kick off your measurement work but want to start small, when you have a specific problem or idea you need developed, or when you need to slightly polish or expand an established impact measurement system in ways you have already identified.

🌐 For Small and Emerging Nonprofits (under USD 250,000 annual revenue, typically 1–7 staff)
Early-stage nonprofits are often doing powerful work with limited time and resources, but find themselves wondering about their true impact, and need clarity on how to show and strengthen their progress. This package helps you establish the building blocks of a credible, practical measurement system that fits your size and capacity.
If you are ready to launch your nonprofit and not sure where to begin when it comes to your impact measurement strategy, this is also a good package to build this element in from the beginning.

Identify up to 5 core outcome indicators that align with your mission and are realistic to track
Design simple data collection tools and sampling plans you can manage in-house or with volunteers with basic ethics protections embedded
Create an analysis plan to provide clear, actionable insights for learning and adaptive management at each step, and use in reports or fundraising to tell your impact story
